A great man once said “We have nothing to fear but fear itself.”
That is as easily true if through neglect the fear is allowed to overwhelm common sense. Under many conditions, that is all too easy to do. And today’s conditions make that even easier.
The time of year is upon us. We must form up and be ready. Vigilance is our watchword, but vigilance without fear.
We must be ready to move, the flock waits for no single duck after all.
And at all times we have to be ready to deal with the presence of hunters. Even an Elmer Fudd can cause harm, no matter how silly he appears and how useless his gun might seem.
